A Few Rain Showers/Wintry Mix Overnight

Becoming Milder

Moisture lifting in from the south will allow for a few rain showers overnight and even areas of a wintry mix (especially over the higher elevations). Temperatures through most of the night will be in the 30s. We'll have a few showers around on Tuesday with any mixed precipitation transitioning to plain rain as a milder air mass move in. Highs will be in the 40s.

A strengthening area of low pressure swinging in from the southwest will provide us with periods of rain on Christmas Eve. Despite that, temperatures look even warmer with highs in the 50s! This system should start to pull away to our north on Christmas Day and after seeing morning highs in the 40s, temperatures will drop into the 30s by the end of the day. As a result, the forecast calls for both rain and snow showers with quieter conditions on tap for Friday.
