Time Warner Cable Sports Announces 2011 HS Football TV Schedule
Syracuse, NY -- Time Warner Cable Sports has announced its Section III High School Football schedule for 2011. The cable channel is scheduled to broadcast eight regular season games as well as playoff contests through the NYSPHSAA championships in the Carrier Dome.
“We take great pride in the quality of our productions and our comprehensive scheduling as we look to touch every region in our extensive coverage area,” said TWCS Director, Doug Logan. “Every game on our schedule features compelling storylines, beginning with Friday’s titanic battle between traditional powerhouses Baldwinsville and CBA.”
The broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti and color commentator Dale Drypolcher, along with sideline reporter Dan Liedka returns for another busy season.
“We encourage all fans to support their local high schools by attending these exciting community events,” said Logan. “If you are able to get to the games in person, you can still see our state of the art productions whenever it’s convenient for you on Time Warner Cable Sports On Demand, channel 577.”
Logan also encourages high school football viewers to watch YNN’s “First and 10,” a weekly, 30-minute wrap up of that night’s games. The program airs every Friday night, throughout the regular season at 11:00pm on YNN and Saturday mornings at 10:00am on TWCS.
