Silver Knights eye new indoor soccer league

  • Text size: + -

The Syracuse Silver Knights are part of a group looking to start a new indoor soccer league.

The team's three-year contract with the Major Indoor Soccer League expired after last season.

The Silver Knights made it to the playoffs, eventually losing to the Baltimore Blast.

The Silver Knights have now signed onto a partnership that will create a new league made up of some former MISL teams and some from the Professional Arena Soccer League.

Details still need to be worked out.

Team owners will meet in Baltimore later this month to finalize the members, rules and schedules. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
