BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- For years, the Syracuse men's basketball team played its postseason games in New York City as a member of the Big East. Returning the Big Apple could be in the Orange's future again.
A new report says the ACC is finalizing details to play its postseason tourney in Brooklyn.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that negotiations are underway to rotate the tourney to the Barclays Center.
It's set to be held again next year in Greensboro, and is scheduled for Washington, D.C. in 2016.
But, SI.com says the conference wants a two-year deal that could start as early as 2017, the next uncommitted year for the tournament.
Sources say details are expected to be completed by the end of the month.
