BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Binghamton man is being held without bail after authorities said he had sex with a 16-year-old.

Broome County Sheriff's Detectives said 35-year-old David Heater had sex with the teen over the course of two and a half months in the Town of Chenango.

He was arrested Friday night following an investigation. Heater is accused of providing the victim with cigarettes, marijuana and other drugs.

Investigators said two 15-year-olds were present on several occasions.

Heater is also charged with third degree criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child.
