SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- More than 130 companies showcased what their businesses have to offer at the Small Business Show at the Oncenter.
Thursday, businesses across the region were given a chance to interact and expand their clientele. Organizers say the climate has shifted to smaller companies in Central New York. Where big manufacturers once employed hundreds of people, leaders say smaller companies are keeping people employed.
"It's so important to strive to have local business owners. We're seeing that, and people looking to start their own companies, that's what this show is all about. We've been here for 16 years we've seen some great success stories happen," said Steve Becker, SOHO 2014 Producer.
There were presentations for CEOs and managers throughout the day and a networking reception to cap off the night.
