SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Animals at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo are celebrating the Easter holiday with a little egg shaped fun.
Red pandas, snow leopards, elephants, and many other animals took part in the egg-stravaganza.
Some received paper mache eggs with meat inside, while others got watermelons.
And all that fun is just the beginning, because for many, spring break kicks off with Easter and the zoo is ready to keep people entertained for their week off from school.
"All next week we're going to be doing extra demonstrations around the zoo. There will be lots of opportunities for our guests to meet and greet with the keepers and the animals that live at the zoo," said Ted Fox, the Zoo Director.
And if you're looking for something fun to do outside on Easter the zoo is open and it's supposed to be gorgeous weather!
