Price Chopper issues hummus recall

  • Text size: + -

Price Chopper issued a voluntary recall Thursday due to an issue with the labels on its hummus.

A release from the supermarket stated its Price Chopper brand Tuscan white bean hummus sold between March 19 and April 14 was mislabeled as sweet potato hummus, which does not show that the product contains Parmesan cheese.

The food is fine to eat, as long as you don't have an allergy to cheese, the release stated.

Any customers who bought the product and would like to return it for a refund can do so at any Price Chopper store. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
