STATEWIDE -- New York State Police are cracking down on speeding drivers as part of its campaign to target aggressive driving.

It's all part of Speed Week. The campaign runs through April 24 with the goal of reducing speed-related crashes and improving safe travel for drivers.

Troopers will be targeting aggressive drivers who are speeding, making frequent or unsafe lane changes, not using signals, tailgating, or using cell phones.

Fines for speeding and aggressive driving can be as much as $1,000, and result in as many as 11 points on your driver's license.
