SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- After Caz Limo, one of the largest transportation companies in Central New York, closed a few months ago, it's been tough to book a limo in the region.

However, companies such as American Limousine have started to see an increase in calls and reservations. With more than 25 vehicles, including stretch limos and limo coaches, American has one of the largest fleets in the region.

Mike Donohue, the general manager of the company, said the limo coaches are easily the most popular.

"They're bigger, you can standup, communicate, especially for weddings and wine tours, when you're in a traditional limousine, it's difficult to talk to the guy, or talk to somebody that's maybe ten, or fifteen feet, down the aisle so, absolutely, the limo coaches are the first ones to go," explained Donohue.

He said he's picked up about 40 reservations since Caz Limo closed in February. If you're looking to book a limo for an upcoming event, you're encouraged to book as soon as possible. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
