TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former state police investigator who was a member of the sexual abuse investigations team has been sentenced for his own sex crime.

The Tompkins County DA's office says Randolph Stark, 61, will spend one year in jail and pay an undisclosed amount of restitution.

He was convicted on one count of first degree sex abuse, for subjecting a woman to non-consensual sexual contact last summer.

Stark will be required to register as a sex offender, and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
