LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- Some of the region's best chefs gathered at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool to show off their cooking skills for a good cause.
Monday was the Signature Chef's Auction to benefit the March of Dimes. The event included sampling stations, a chef competitions, auctions, and live music. A portion of the money raised will help fund local research.
"Everyone that is here knows someone who has had a baby born prematurely or had a child born birth defects or birth disorders and they want to understand why they want to prevent it from happening, and I think that's why they are here because they know that the March of Dimes provides much needed research to help find those answers and hopefully prevent it," said Renee Carolin, chairmember of the March of Dimes.
Cooking at Home's Dan Eaton was one of the hosts. For more information about the March of Dimes, visit www.marchofdimes.com.
