SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Students from All Saints sang at the annual St. Patrick's Day Ceremony at Tipp Hill Memorial Park on Monday.

During the ceremony, Father Kevin Maloney delivered the blessing. However, the main event was a special presentation for a local family who was recognized for making numerous contributions to the neighborhood for decades.

The Allen family said they were deeply moved by the ceremony.

"I've gotten awards all over the world but this is the most important one because these are people that I grew up with," said Allen, the former owner of Gregorio's Pizza.

The Tipp Hill Neighborhood Association presented the award. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
