SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- State Fair organizers have announced that a new operator will be running the Midway at this year's fair.
For years the James E Strates Shows have ran the Midway rides and attractions.
This is video of the Strates Shows breaking down for the final time last year.
Now it will be taken over by Wade Shows of Livonia, Michigan.
Ag and Market officials say there was an extensive review process for Midway operators starting last summer.
Fair officials say 63 new rides, 25 food stands, 70 games, and 25 novelty and other sales booths will be coming to what could be an expanded Midway.
Wade Shows operates at the Florida, North Carolina and Oklahoma State Fairs along with many other events throughout the summer.
