ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo announces $35 million in low-interest loans for Oneida County.
The money will go to Marcy Nanotech development to expand and strengthen the infrastructure the region needs to accommodate growth in the private sector, Cuomo said.
Specifically, the money will be used to improve the county’s sewer collection system and increase the system’s overall capacity.
Development of the Marcy Nanocenter is expected to create thousands of well-paying new jobs, according to Cuomo.
