Syracuse fans are still beaming after last night's buzzer beater win over the Pittsburgh Panthers. Our Brad Vivacqua has the story.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse Orange remain undefeated this season after a big win in Pittsburgh.
Tyler Ennis, the freshman guard, hit a three-pointer as time expired to give Syracuse a 58-56 win on the road. The Orange are now 24-0 this season.
Ennis' shot became an instant talker on social media, and sports bars across the nation. At Tully's in Syracuse, fans were not shy about hiding their excitment last night. They say it's been a great season, and Thursday's game was just one more example.
"This was an awesome game. It was very nerve-wracking, but I knew they were going to pull it off. They always do when it's close like this. They always make them big plays, like Ennis just did. That's what you get when you play Syracuse," said Dan Hill, a Syracuse fan.
SU's next game is Saturday at the Carrier Dome against North Carolina State. It's scheduled for 3 p.m.
