SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It was a very special evening for those dancing the night away at the Father-Daughter Valentine Ball.
The dance was held at the Empire Room at the New York State Fairgrounds Tuesday night.
This was the twelfth year of the ball.
It benefits the pediatric cancer services at the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
"We're so happy to be a part of the CNY community and be a part of giving back. My daughter has received a lot of services from the Golisano Children's Hospital over the last twelve years, and we've been a part of the Upstate medicine services and pediatrics, so we are really glad to give back to the community," said Wesley Fleming, Event Creator/Sponsor.
"All that money is going to the children's hospital and that really really excites me, it's like it's going to a really really good cause," said Beth Fleming, daughter.
Fleming says his church, the Eastside Vineyard in DeWitt, helps organize the event
The ball also included a magician show and a silent auction.
