State Police seek help to identify dead body

WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- New York State Police are asking for help to identify the body of a man found at the Glen Park Hydro Dam on Tuesday morning.

Workers were clearing ice from the dam, when they came across the man's body in chunks of ice. The body was taken to the Jefferson County Medical Examiner's office, but there are not any open cases for missing men in the county.

According to police, he was a white male, about 6'3 tall, and weighed approximately 260 pounds. He had black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing an extra large, blue American Eagle Outfitter sweatshirt. He also was wearing green or tan vintage cargo pants, size 13 Craftsman work boots, and a size 44 two-sided, black and brown belt.
