STATEWIDE -- Some Upstate New York natives will head to Sochi, Russia to play for the United States men's Olympic Hockey Team in February.
Ithaca native Dustin Brown from the Los Angeles Kings will play for Team USA. This will be Brown's second straight Olympics after helping the U.S. win silver four years ago.
Ogdensburg native Jimmy Howard from the Detroit Red Wings will also be one of the team's goalies. This marks his first Olympic experience.
The Sochi Olympics begins February 6. The team's first game is scheduled for February 13 against Slovakia.
