A Syracuse based web development company is helping students in need in the Syracuse City School District. Members of the Terakeet company will deliver school supplies and clothing to sixteen schools within the district beginning Wednesday. Brad Vivacqua has more.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- In August, our viewers may remember we told them about a school supply drive being conducted by the Terakeet company. Well, the company reached out to district schools to find out what students from low income families needed. Members of the company collected supplies and monetary donations and then received a discount from Staples.

They then found that winter clothing items were needed. More Items were purchased with that funding and today about twenty employees will begin delivering thousands of items to the schools.

"There's a lot of the students that might not have the supplies anymore. They may not have clothing anymore that fits the season. So when we got that extra money from that discount that Staples gave us, we actually went out and bought all kinds of winter clothing so hats, gloves, scarves, jackets and you know that's something that's just going to help these kids," said Alyse Bradley, Terakeet Account Executive.

Terakeet is a web development company on Clinton Street in Syracuse with about 80 employees. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
