SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The suspect in a deadly hit and run crash overnight in Syracuse, was in court Friday morning.
Alicia Alampi was accused of driving drunk, and hitting Robert Bevard. The crash on Park Street was reported to police just after 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
According to authorities, Bevard died at the scene. Officers later tracked down Alampi, and found damage to her Jeep consistent with the crash.
Alampi plead not guilty to second degree vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene of a fatal accident, and DWI. Her bail has been set at $50,000.
