UTICA, N.Y. -- A man is accused of handcuffing and duct taping his boyfriend and then putting a gun to his head.

Utica Police said the incident happened along Kemble Street on Monday night.

According to officers, when the victim tried to escape the apartment, a kitchen knife was placed on his throat.

Detectives eventually arrested 32-year-old John Fulmore from Rochester.

He was charged with unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of stolen property among other charges.
