It's known as one of the snowiest communities in Central New York. Redfield in Oswego County has been hit hard over the past couple of days. Our Candace Hopkins braved the weather to find out how residents are coping.
REDFIELD, N.Y. -- Lake effect snow has been on and off for several days in much of the Central New York Region. However, the Tug Hill pleateau has gotten more than the rest of the region.
Areas east of Lake Ontarion, including Redfield, found themselves digging out again on Friday morning. According to the National Weather Service, 14 inches of snow fell in just the last 24 hours.
Earlier this week, Redfield received 44 inches of snow. It was sometimes falling as fast as four inches per hour.
