SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One hundred Syracuse Kindergartners had a fun-filled morning opening gifts at Carrier Corporation's Annual Holiday Party.
This is Carrier's 23rd year opening their doors to the children of Seymour Dual Language Academy on the near West Side.
Each employee selects a tag off the company's tree and donates a gift to a child.
Company officials say the kids aren't the only ones who enjoy the day.
"And certainly you get a lot of vicarious thrill out of watching kids open gifts and the sheer joy they have in doing it," said Jon Shaw, Carrier Transicold Global Marketing Manager.
The event also featured appearances by Santa Claus, Frosty and other Christmas characters.
