SCHOHARIE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The man accused of using pliers to pull teeth out of his developmentally disabled foster child's mouth has been indicted.
Steven Walker, 34, has been charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Walker was arrested last month after police say he pulled three teeth out of the eight-year-old's mouth.
An account has been established by the commissioner of the Schoharie County Social Services at the NBT Bank at 271 Main Street in Schoharie. The money from the account will directly benefit the child.
