SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Investigators are looking into what sparked an apartment fire in Syracuse.
Crews were called to 308 Kinne Street a little after 6:30 p.m. Monday. They arrived to find thick, black smoke.
Officials say the fire started in an apartment that appears to have been unoccupied.
Firefighters were able to get the flames under control in about 10 minutes. No one was hurt.
Residents were able to return to their apartments for the night.
