SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Some of your favorite food trucks and hot dog vendors will roll into a new location in Syracuse next year.
Several vendors were at a common council meeting Monday morning to compete for popular spots around the city. Syracuse allows vendors to choose a new location each December. Officials use a lottery system to assign the order in which vendors can pick.
This is the eighth year the owner of Lady Bug Lunchbox has participated in the lottery. She says the process is always nerve wracking because everyone wants the opportunity to choose the best location.
"Of course it's nice to located next to a big building with a lot of people, because not everybody eats the same food every day," said Pam Dwyer, owner of Lady Bug Lunchbox.
