SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse decked the halls for it's 28th annual Festival of Trees.
This year's exhibit featured over 100 decorated trees, wreaths, and special displays.
Each item was donated by local businesses, community groups and individuals.
Organizers said they are happy to see new visitors coming in to check out the trees.
"We have families coming here to the museum, many for the first time,” Festival of Trees Chair Larry Hoefler said. “Many young families, families who haven't been to the museum before. Having the opportunity to come in, not only to see the trees, but to see maybe for the first time the collection here, and begin to have an affinity for the public space where people can come to enjoy themselves."
The exhibit is open until December 15.
