CLAY, N.Y. -- A man is accused of setting a Clay mobile home on fire which was the residence of a vehicular manslaughter suspect.

According to the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department, 31-year-old Joshua Brennan of Clay has been charged with burglary in the second degree and arson in the third degree.

Deputies said Brennan busted into the home and then set fire to it along Grosvenor Road Monday morning.

He is currently being held in the Justice Center without bail. The investigation is still ongoing.

The home that was destroyed by flames belonged to Muhammad Baqir, the man recently charged in a deadly car crash involving a Liverpool family.

Baqir is charged with vehicular manslaughter for the death of Meagen Patterson. Police said he had taken heroin prior to the November 24 crash.

Her husband and three children were hospitalized. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
