SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A trial date has been scheduled for a repeat sex offender in Onondaga County.
Mark Carrigan was indicted on 22 counts involving four alleged victims. The charges include second degree sex abuse, third degree sex abuse, and use of a child in a sexual performance. Carrigan was also arrested over the summer in connection with a different sex abuse case, and has a criminal record dating back to the 1980s.
His trial is set for April 7. Carrigan is expected to be back in court for a suppression hearing in connection with an unrelated grand larceny charge. He was accused of stealing $35,000 from a woman while serving as her power of attorney.
