YORKVILLE, N.Y. -- Yorkville's mayor was hit by a car while walking in a crosswalk in the village Thursday morning.
According to Oneida County Sheriff's deputies, Anthony Leone was crossing Oriskany Boulevard when he was struck.
Leone was taken to the hospital. He suffered a dislocated shoulder and some back pain, but is expected to be okay.
Suzzanne Marineau, 50, from Ava was ticketed for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
