SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- St. Joseph's Hospital celebrated the holiday season with a tradition. On Thursday, the hospital held their 19th annual Trimming and Blessing of the Christmas Tree and Manger.
The St. Joe's choir also took part in the tradition and sung some Christmas carols.
Employees stepped away from work to enjoy to help decorate the tree with ornaments.
"Our staff goes so hard, they work very hard, day in and day out. And so this really is an opportunity for them to take a break and to really look at what this season is all about," said Joshua Czyz, Coordinator of Spiritual Care at St. Joseph's.
The tree and the manger will be placed in the main lobby of the hospital for the holiday season.
