SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating an early morning armed robbery.
Officials say a 62-year-old man was walking home from work when he was robbed in the 200 block of Merriman Avenue around 4:35 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspect punched the man in the face and took his wallet.
The man suffered a bloody nose and other minor injuries.
