An annual holiday display is helping support important programs and preserve history at the Erie Canal Museum. Brad Vivacqua reports.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Erie Canal Museum is open all year long but typically it becomes known for its Gingerbread Gallery this time of year. This is one of the museum's largest attractions of the year with about five thousand people who go through the museum.
About 30 gingerbread creations made by professional and amateur bakers are being displayed at the museum in 2013. The edible gingerbread exhibits will be showcased through January 5th.
