UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica College's cyber security program catches the attention of Homeland Security. The division's New York State commissioner toured the Northeast Cyber Forensics Center Thursday.
Jerome Hauer got a firsthand look at what the center offers students. He says the Cyber Forensics Center is on the forefront of a very important field.
"They are really developing new techniques, they're really looking at this whole evolving issue, which is an ongoing and growing threat to the country," Hauer said.
Hauer says he plans to explore the possibility of his department partnering with the center.
