HORSEHEADS, N.Y. -- Belden Incorporated says it will be closing its Horseheads plant. 50 jobs will be moved to the company's East Syracuse facility. An additional 123 positions will be lost.
In a statement, Belden Incorporated said it needed to change to stay competitive. The company also says it remains committed to its other partnerships throughout New York State.
Employees losing their jobs will receive severance packages. The Horseheads plant is expected to close by the end of the year.
