BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Just one day after Governor's Cuomo's State of the State address, leaders and public officials in the Southern Tier had the opportunity to get a closer look at his agenda.
DMV Commissioner Barbara Fiala delivered a presentation on the governor's State of the State address at the Broome County Legislative Chambers Thursday. Topics included the governor's plans for economic growth, education reform and gun control, to name a few.
Fiala says the regional presentation gives people throughout the state a voice.
"It works well because if people understand what the agenda is, then they will talk to their neighbors, friends, legislators, and that's important, trying to get the message out," said Fiala.
Members of the governor's cabinet were spread throughout the state Thursday to deliver similar regional addresses.
