ALASKA -- A serial killer with ties to the North Country told authorities he planned to kill again.
Israel Keyes, 34, was found dead in his jail cell earlier this week in an apparent suicide. But before taking his own life, Keyes told authorities that if he had gotten away, he would have continued to kill.
An FBI spokesman says "murder kits" that included body disposal supplies were found stashed in New York and Vermont. Investigators also say they found murder weapons allegedly used by Keyes in the St. Lawrence County village of Parishville.
Keyes was being held for the murder of an 18-year-old Alaskan barista. He also told authorities he killed at least seven other people in the past decade.
