SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Two men who were busted in a major Syracuse drug sting last month have been indicted by a grand jury.
Jonathan Perez and Seandell King, both 25, were indicted Thursday for third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Perez and King were arrested in the beginning of October. They were accused of selling large amounts of heroin to many lower level dealers in Central New York.
The two were also allegedly involved with a number of weapons related incidents on the City's west side.
During the sting, SWAT teams recovered about 500 bags of heroin, heroin processing and packaging items, a fully loaded rifle, revolver and sub-machine gun and more than $6,000 cash during three raids.
Five other men were also arrested in the sting. They are facing drug and weapons charges, along with resisting arrest.
