Giant ice cream sign stolen

  • Text size: + -

CROGHAN, N.Y. -- There's a thief out there with a massive brain freeze after getting away with an eight-foot ice cream cone. A fiberglass sign, painted to look like a vanilla-chocolate twist, in front of Schultz's Restaurant in Croghan was stolen last month.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is still looking for the sign as well as the ice cream caper.

If you know who stole the sign or have seen the giant ice cream cone after it was stolen on September 30th, call the Sheriff's Office at (315) 376-3511. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
