There are new developments in the Bernie Fine scandal. This time, it involves his wife, Laurie. In an affidavit filed Monday, she is accused of having sexual relationships with former players. Our Iris St. Meran has more on what is said and the court documents and what Fine's lawyer has to say about all of this.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Former SU ball boy Bobby Davis has more to say about what happened during his time off the court at Syracuse University. Last November, Davis came forward claiming he was sexually abused by former assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine in the 80s.

Monday, in an affidavit, the 39-year-old accuses Fine's wife, Laurie, of having sex with other players.

Davis says, "I was present on quite a number of occasions with basketball team players over the years and heard them often speaking of ‘doing’ the ‘coach's wife, and hearing them joke about how good she was in bed and at sex."

His affidavit also says another assistant coach's wife, who he only identified as "Wife 2" also took part in the alleged misconduct.

Last fall, sports network ESPN released a phone conversation Davis had with Laurie Fine that he taped. In part of it, Laurie talks about their relationship:

Laurie Fine: The issue at hand is that he has no business doing what he did with you.
Bobby Davis: In retrospect, I, I,
Laurie Fine: You know what ,and neither did I, because I really helped screw you up a little more, too.

We went to the Fine home to get comment from Laurie Fine about this affidavit. A woman answered the door and we asked, "Is Mrs. Fine here?" She said “No.”

The woman at the door wouldn't say when she would return. But Fine's lawyer did have a response to what Davis alleges.

"This is both desperate and disgusting. It's an example of irresponsible and unprofessional lawyering," said Fine’s attorney Ed Menkin.

What Davis claims in the affidavit he heard from other players and through conversations, our legal expert says this is how Davis' lawyer is building their defamation suit against the University.

Legal Expert Paul der Ohannesian said, "Probably what they're trying to do is show that Boeheim and the University were aware of information and had a reckless disregard for the truth of what was happening to Davis and other boys. Whether or not it will be sufficient to help in that lawsuit is yet to be seen."

Der Ohannesian says Davis doesn't have to prove these allegations, but show that despite being initially called a liar by Boeheim, the head coach and the University were aware of what was happening, but did not take action.

We reached out to Allred, who responded with this statement: "If Laurie Fine was having multiple sexual relationships with basketball players then the University must explain how this could have been taking place for years, right under Coach Boeheim's nose without his being aware of it and without the University 's doing anything about it."

Kevin Quinn, Senior Vice President for Public Affairs at SU, told YNN the University will respond to the plaintiff's lawsuit and various allegations at the appropriate time.
