OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- If you're looking for somewhere to spend Thanksgiving, there are a few places in Oswego County that are offering free meals this Thursday.
In Oswego, the Italian restaurant La Parrilla will serve food on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing will be served for free.
The restaurant has been open less than a year and is offering free dinner so people don't have to spend Thanksgiving alone or hungry.
"It's a Thanksgiving, on us basically, it's for the community. People that are less fortunate or for whatever the reason, maybe they don't have family in town or no family at all and they can come here and get a free Thanksgiving in a warm, nice location," said La Parrilla owner Raymond Jock.
Another place in Oswego County serving dinner is the State Street United Methodist Church in Fulton. They will serve Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 3 p.m.
