CENTRAL NEW YORK -- Onondaga Community College and Cazenovia College are partnering up to allow students to earn two degrees in just four years.

The 2 + 2 agreement requires students to complete two years at OCC where they will receive their associate's degree and then a bachelor's after another two years at Cazenovia.

The partnership makes it easier for OCC students to transition to a four year college.

"I think it makes it more attractive; I also think it makes it more efficient. Students have the opportunity for good advising from the very beginning not just about what to take the first year, but how to actually get the degree that they envisioned," said Casey Crabill, the OCC president.

There's 13 degree programs at OCC and 26 at Cazenovia are included in the partnership.

Students can register for the program immediately.
